Areas outside of these locations can be negotiated on a case by case basis. 

No. Standard Medicare, MaineCare and private insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for private, in-home care. However, we will be happy to work with clients who have Long Term Care Insurance to help them ensure they are receiving the maximum reimbursement allowed under their plan. 

My Heart's at Home is designed to provide as little or as much help as you need.

Some people require assistance on a small scale such as having their medications pre-filled weekly, or help getting to their medical appointments.

Others need more extensive assistance such as 24/7 caregivers, medication management, and household management (Is there fuel oil in the tank? Are there adequate groceries in the refrigerator?  Is anyone taking advantage of my loved one? Are bills being paid?)

While we care for clients with all needs, our specialty is those with all stages of Dementia and those at End of Life.  We are equipped with the skills necessary to care for people in these circumstances.

We specialize in assisting Mainers whose children/Power of Attorney live out of state or far enough away to make frequent assistance difficult.

Building relationships with clients and their families is what we do best. If you live away from your loved one and are looking for help making sure they are safe at home, we will work with you to ensure their needs are being met, keeping you informed and the lines of communication open.

Your visits can now be spent on more quality time with your loved one, and less on trying to fit in appointments and cleaning the house. 

Because we provide care solely in the homes of our clients and use mobile technology, we are able to pass that savings on to you. Our rates are highly competitive, and we offer discounts for pre-payments and payment plans.
